The following terms of service apply when using the Meteostat Python library, the Meteostat JSON API or the Meteostat bulk data interface (the “services”). Please review the terms and license carefully. By accessing or using the services, you signify your agreement to these terms.

Use of Services

Meteostat does not charge users for the data itself. All weather and climate data provided by Meteostat can be accessed without any cost for the user. Any service fees only cover the cost of reproduction, delivery and maintenance on our side. You are not allowed to create multiple accounts or use any automated tool that attempts to create multiple accounts.

Availability

Meteostat may discontinue or block access to the services at any time without prior notice. Meteostat has no obligation to compensate users for any downtime or discontinuation of the services.

Limitation of Liability

The use of our services is at your sole risk. The data provided by Meteostat is not intended to be used in any context where human life or property may be at risk.

We cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the information provided through our services. Moreover, Meteostat is not responsible for any copyright infringement committed by a third party.
